At Zen Squared Creations as publishers of the series Flip & Flow and this website, we take privacy and security very seriously, setting out the procedures we use for safeguarding your personal data. This privacy policy adheres to the guidance set out by The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Henceforth “We” is to be understood as Zen Squared Creations Ltd, the founders and publishers of the Flip & Flow books and website www.flipandflow.co

Here at Zen Squared Creations and Flip & Flow,  we are dedicated to safeguarding and respecting your privacy online. In accordance with GDPR, we will only collect, store and use your personal information for specific purposes as outlined below. Unless required by law, we will never share your personal data to 3rd parties; your data is always protected. 

You may contact us at any time with any privacy queries or concerns, we only use your personal data to support our relationship with you. Your personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, which can include name, email address, address, and more. You can request to see and modify the data we hold. 



Your information

We collect some of your personal information when you place an order; sign up for the newsletter; or sign a contract. Details such as your name, e-mail address, delivery and billing address are stored for fulfilment and tax purposes. 

We do not share your data outside of our organisation and the third party services we employ to help us run our business (such as website admin management, accounting etc). 

Personal Data is stored on relevant systems such as cloud systems, our website, and 3rd party services where required, which are GDPR compliant.

If we are required by law to share any information, for example an audit request from HMRC, we will notify each party concerned to make them aware. 


Personal data that we process for any purpose shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose. By UK law, information required for tax and legal requirements will be held for 7 years. We keep a record of orders you make with us, so we can help deal with any future enquiries, and ensure that we only send you relevant information. 

Email addresses provided to subscribe for our newsletter are stored until consent is withdrawn, and a request to confirm subscription will be sent every 2 years. You may request to have your personal data removed at any time and we are more than happy to comply within 7 working days. We keep a record of any e-mail communication you send to us, so we can track any problems or concerns you’ve had. 

In addition to personal information, we are using Google Analytics on our website, with legitimate interest to ensure we meet customer needs as effectively as we can. Google Analytics stores usage data which may include your IP address, geographical location, referral source, length of visit and page views – although a lot of this is aggregated data.

Our aim is to provide a personalised and efficient service to you, by gathering relevant data through our website or communication with customers. We are dedicated to only using your personal data as required by law, for business activities such as:

  4. Business development to enhance the shopping experience with our brand

  • Shopify payments – our payment provider via Shopify
  • PayPal – our additional payment provider
  • Klaviyo – email service provider
  • Royal Mail - delivery partner

Under GDPR you have a right to be forgotten, to withdraw your consent, to change information we hold about you, and to restrict processing.

We take every precaution to safeguard your information and all personal data stored by us is kept on a server in a secure environment. We monitor our security systems, and comply with GDPR and ICO guidelines. 

As the Internet itself is not a 100% secure platform, we can only guarantee as far our obligations and responsibilities are concerned. We cannot be held responsible for any damages which you, or others, may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of such information in an Internet breach outside of our control.

 With respect to appropriate legislation and guidelines, we reserve the right to amend our privacy policy. We endeavour to keep our website updated with the most up to date information, and may notify you of such changes.
